My stay at Acta Bcn 40 had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore all the main attractions, and the staff were super friendly. However, I struggled with some discomfort in the room, including the air conditioning and shower pressure, which left me feeling frustrated. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you're looking for a good spot in the city, but there are definitely some areas for improvement.

Rooms

The room was basic but clean. I found it a bit small, especially if traveling with more luggage. The shower pressure was weak, and the air conditioning didn't cool the room as well as I hoped.

The hotel is in a great spot; it's close to Las Ramblas and other major sites, yet it's a bit tucked away from the noisy busyness, which I appreciated.

I didn't eat much at the hotel, however, there were lovely bakeries nearby and several good spots for drinks and food just a short walk away.
Facilities

Basic facilities, like a kettle on request and free coffee for a few hours daily, were nice touches, though I wished there were more options available.

Overall, it was a lovely boutique hotel experience, and I would happily return.

I recently stayed at Acta BCN 40 and found it to be a lovely experience overall. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff, especially the maids, were very friendly. The location felt a bit intimidating when I arrived late at night, but it was more vibrant during the day. However, the small size of my room posed a challenge. Overall, I'd recommend it for its cleanliness and great service! 😊
